Here at Bramble & Blossom we love a relaxing soak and bringing elements of the spa into your own home can be the perfect way to unwind and invest in some essential self-care. To ensure you optimise your experience we recommend taking some or preferably all of the following steps.
Create some space and focus on the settling. Remove the kids bath toys or any clutter from the bathroom. Light your favourite scented candle or dot a few tealights around the bathroom. Candlelight can be a restorative experience for busy minds.
Whilst the bath is running, stop. Take some time here to mediate or pause whilst the bath is running rather than rushing around to tidy away the washing or other small chores. Being present and in the moment, focusing on the running water, will give you the chance to unwind before you slide into the tub.
Choose a bath salt. We recommend sustainably sourced salt, preferably harvested via solar evaporation. Dead sea salts are mineral rich and said to have the best therapeutic quality, a wonderful remedy for a range of ailments and skin complaints.
For us a bath wouldn’t be complete without the addition of organic essential oils. Choose your favourite scent or a blend of scents depending on your mood.
