Lavender is one of my go to essential oils it has a delightful floral scent with woody tones. Its benefits are bountiful. Having been subject to countless studies it is found to lower blood pressure, reduce anxiety, and relax the nervous system. It is also a perfect oil for anyone new to aromatherapy.
Often an overlooked essential oil, Marjoram was used by the ancient Greeks in many of their medicinal remedies. Used to promote a sense of calm and provide a muscle relaxing response. It I can also be used by aromatherapists to combat hypertension and stress related conditions.
Extracted from the rinds of citrus fruit, Bergamot has an uplifting scent and it blends beautifully with other essential oils. From a therapeutic point of view, it has been found to reduce stress levels and it is thought that it can improve mood.
This floral scented oil can promote a sense of peacefulness and calm and is said to have a relaxing effect on the nervous system, oh and did we mention it smells wonderful. The oil we use sourced from an organic co-operative of farmers in Madagascar.
